BOHS P405 Management of Asbestos In Buildings Refresher

The BOHS P405 refresher course equips candidates with updated practical knowledge and skills for efficient asbestos management in buildings, including a basic understanding of asbestos removal procedures. Candidates attending this course are expected to have prior familiarity with The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, specifically Regulation 4, and the relevant Approved Code of Practice and guidance L143 Managing and Working with Asbestos. Holding a BOHS P405 certification is also required. 

The Subject areas covered are (training needs analysis dependant): 

• Understanding the legal framework and its practical implementation in asbestos management 
• Recognising different survey types and their specific requirements 

•  Creating an effective action plan to manage asbestos within buildings 
• Identifying appropriate asbestos remediation procedures 
• Understanding the necessary air monitoring protocols following asbestos remediation activities
