Respirator Protective Equipment (RPE) Awareness

Our Respirator Protective Equipment (RPE) course offers comprehensive guidance and practical knowledge on RPE. Candidates will gain hands-on experience on various types of masks, including FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3 disposable masks, as well as semi-disposable and reusable half masks.

While prior knowledge and experience are not required for the Respirator Protective Equipment (RPE) course, having an awareness of HSG53 Respiratory Protective Equipment at Work can be beneficial. Our training will provide candidates with the necessary skills to ensure proper fit and protection for respiratory equipment, promoting a safe and secure working environment.

• Familiarisation with regulations and guidance
• Understanding respirable hazards
• Selection procedures for adequate and suitable Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE)
• Exploring fit factors and protection factors
• Examination procedures for RPE and identification of maintenance issues
• Proper donning procedures and pre-use fit checks
• Employers Obligations
