Manual Handling

Our Manual Handling Training is designed to provide individuals who perform lifting, moving, pulling or pushing tasks at work, with the necessary knowledge and skills This comprehensive training course follows the procedures outlined in the Manual Handling Operations Regulation 1992 & INDG134.

Key topics covered in this training include understanding the injuries that may occur during lifting, moving, pulling or pushing tasks, how to assess the risks from manual handling, how to use mechanical aids, safe manual handling techniques, safe systems of work for the relevant tasks and environment.

By completing the manual handling course, individuals will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively carry out lifting, moving, pulling or pushing tasks while at work. This will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a safe working environment.
