Qualitative Fit Testing (Train the Fit Tester)

Our Face Fit Testing Training course offers comprehensive guidance and practical knowledge on conducting Qualitative face fit testing. Candidates will gain hands-on experience in fitting various types of masks, including FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3 disposable masks, as well as semi-disposable and reusable half masks.

While prior knowledge and experience are not required for this course, having an awareness of HSG53 Respiratory Protective Equipment at Work and INDG479 can be beneficial. Our training will equip candidates with the necessary skills to ensure proper fit and protection for respiratory equipment, promoting a safe and secure working environment.

Selection procedures for adequate and suitable Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE)

Examination procedures for RPE and identification of maintenance issues

Implementing correct fit testing procedures and understanding the purpose of the exercises

Recognising the capabilities and limitations of fit testing equipment
Interpretation of fit testing results
