BOHS CCHRC Certificate in Controlling Health Risks

Our BOHS CCHRC course is specifically designed for site supervisors who bear front-line responsibility for managing health risks on construction sites. It has also proven beneficial for Health and Safety advisors and Managers, as it reinforces their understanding of health risks. Additionally, individuals aspiring to advance into these roles will find the course highly suitable. To enrol in this course, no prior qualifications or prerequisites are necessary. We welcome participants from various backgrounds and experience levels.

BOHS CCHRC is set at Level 2, which denotes a well-rounded understanding of health and safety practices. The level is broadly comparable to the NEBOSH Health and Safety at Work qualification, reflecting the depth of knowledge and skills required to attain the qualification. To pass the course, there is a short multiple-choice test at the end of the course.

The Subjects areas covered are:

• Introduction and effective management of health risks, emphasising risk assessment and control principles.
• Identification and control of chemical and biological hazards.
• Understanding and managing physical hazards.
• Comprehensive insights into Musculo Skeletal Disorders (MSDs) and mental health risks, along with their control measures.
• Practical application of knowledge acquired throughout the course.
