Work Highlights: Large Asbestos Removal Project

G&L Consultancy recently completed a significant asbestos removal project at a private residence in Dorset. The property, undergoing a full renovation by Grinters Builders, required the removal of asbestos cement containing white asbestos from the walls and ceiling of nine rooms. 

Before commencing the removal process, all furnishings were removed and fixtures isolated. Once the property was empty, two skilled operatives from G&L Consultancy began the meticulous task of sheeting and constructing an enclosure. This enclosure was essential to prevent contamination of surrounding areas if any asbestos fibres were released during the careful removal process. 

The operatives worked diligently to remove all asbestos-containing materials, ensuring that every piece of debris was carefully collected and disposed of in accordance with hazardous waste regulations. The entire project was executed with the highest level of professionalism, adhering to strict safety protocols and G&L Consultancy’s high standards. 

Upon completion, Grinters were left with a clean and safe environment, free from asbestos fibres. This allowed them to proceed confidently with their renovation work, knowing that the property was now a blank canvas, ready to be transformed into something special for the owner.
